Dear Valued Patients,
We are grateful for the trust you place in us for your allergy and asthma care. At Allergy & Asthma Care, PA, we are always striving to provide the best possible service while balancing the needs of our patients and staff. Please review the following changes the practice will implement next year.
Our confirmation platform will continue to be monitored through Phreesia. We request that patients pre-register for their appointments, scan insurance cards, and verify demographic information annually. It is important to confirm coverage information with your insurance plan, as some HMO plans may no longer be in network or may require a referral from a primary care physician.
If you are changing insurance plans and are on a biologic or infused medication, please provide the front and back of your insurance card as soon as possible. Our office will need to initiate new prior authorizations, which may take additional time to process.
Beginning next year, we will send electronic statements. Please ensure we have your current email address on file. Payments can be made through the Phreesia system, by calling the billing department, or through our website.
Saturday Clinic Schedule Update
Beginning January 1, 2026, our office will be open on only two Saturdays each month for patient visits, infusions, and allergy shots. Unless otherwise noted, the office will be open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.
Saturday hours will remain the same, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be increased availability for allergy shot appointments on the Saturdays we are open. If you are unable to keep your injection appointment, please contact the office to cancel so we can offer the time to another patient.
Please note that the nurse triage line for medical questions, sick calls, and refill requests will no longer be available on Saturdays. We ask that you contact us Monday through Friday during regular office hours for these requests.
We understand that Saturday appointments are important to many of our patients, and we remain committed to offering this convenient option. Adjusting our Saturday availability allows us to better manage staffing challenges while maintaining the high quality of care you deserve.
