Saturday Hours

Dear Valued Patients,

We are grateful for the trust you place in us for your allergy and asthma care. At Allergy & Asthma Care, PA, we are always striving to provide the best possible service while balancing the needs of our patients and staff. Please review some changes the practice will implement next year.

Our confirmation platform will continue to be monitored through Phreesia. We request patients pre-register for their appointments, scan insurance cards and verify demographic information every year. It is important to confirm coverage information with your insurance plan as some HMO plans are no longer in network or may require a referral from primary care physicians.

If you are changing insurance plans and, on a biologic/ infused medication- please provide front/ back of the card as soon as possible. Our office will need to begin new prior authorizations, which sometimes take extra time to process.

Next year, we will begin sending electronic statements so please ensure we have your current email address. Patients can make payments within the Phreesia system, by calling the billing department or through our website.

Another upcoming change is in reference to our Saturday clinic schedule. Beginning January 1, 2026, our office will be open for patient visits, infusions and allergy shots on only two Saturdays each month. Unless otherwise noted, the office will be open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Our Saturday hours will remain the same as before, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be increased availability for allergy shot appointments on the Saturdays we are open. If you are unable to keep your injection appointment, please contact the office to cancel it so we can open the spot for another patient.

Please be aware the nurse triage line for medical questions, sick calls and/or refill requests will no longer be available on Saturdays. We ask that you please contact us Monday through Friday during regular office hours for these requests.

We understand that Saturday appointments are important to many of our patients, and we are committed to continuing to offer this convenient option. Adjusting our Saturday availability will allow us to better manage staffing challenges while maintaining the high quality of care you deserve.
